What Makes AlignED Different
Developed by IARSS in partnership with Illinois’ ROEs and ISCs, AlignED is brought to life by experienced local education partners who work directly with districts and schools.
The role of the ROE and ISC is not simply to facilitate improvement, but to build the capacity of leadership teams to lead continuous improvement independently.
ROE and ISC partners meet districts and schools where they are, working alongside leadership teams to understand their context, goals, strengths, and priorities. Through modeling, coaching, facilitation, and guided practice, they help teams clarify goals, examine evidence, strengthen implementation, monitor progress, and adapt their actions over time.
Schools and districts do not simply move through the AlignED Framework. Their leadership teams develop the knowledge, skills, practices, and organizational capacity needed to sustain continuous improvement long after the partnership concludes.
